Sydney R. Georg, PA-C

Sydney Georg came to orthopedics the way a lot of good orthopedic PAs do — through her own injuries. She grew up an athlete in Seguin and played collegiate volleyball at the University of Texas at Dallas, where a series of injuries put her on the patient side of the orthopedic experience and eventually pulled her into the field herself. She returned as a PA-C after earning her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

Working alongside Dr. Templin, Sydney evaluates patients in clinic, performs musculoskeletal exams, interprets imaging, and develops treatment plans in coordination with Dr. Templin. She performs joint and soft-tissue injections, manages fracture care, and applies casts and splints. In the operating room, she first assists Dr. Templin across his surgical cases — handling exposure, retraction, and closure — and follows those patients through recovery, leading post-operative visits, tracking healing, coordinating physical therapy, and catching complications early. Patients benefit from seeing the same clinician in clinic, in the OR, and through recovery — a continuity that's uncommon in orthopedic care and central to how this practice works.

Sydney is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

She lives in the area with her husband and their two dogs. Outside the clinic, Sydney is almost always moving — cycling, swimming, playing music, or outdoors somewhere in the Hill Country.
